Google+ to be unlinked from YouTube

Google have revealed plans to change their forced integration of Google+ and YouTube. The controversial requirement to sign up to Google+ in order to post comments to YouTube has never been popular, some saying it was an attempt to revive the struggling social platform.
What does this mean for you?
I can’t count the number of times clients have been confused with the whole setup to begin with. This move should simplify the process, so that you can login to individual platforms to post or comment as you please.
YouTube clarified that people who were happy with the integration would not have to take any action, but an option to unlink a YouTube account from Google+ would be introduced.
